Dear Hellgurd,

I love the change of perspectives in this entry. It's really interesting to follow your ideas!

I'm not sure whether uneducated persons are more satisfied. I know of some opposite research results that show that more educated persons are more satisfied and countries that offer higher education can profit from a higher satisfaction within their societies. Yet, education might not be the main reason. As we have also discussed in this blog, often people enjoying other advantages - e.g. financial security, a peaceful environment with a good infrastructure - also enjoy a better education and will be more satisfied not only due to their education but because of their general living situation. Generally, education offers you ways to reach a higher salary and live in a more stable environment which offer you more opportunities. This often makes it easier to live a happy life.

Greetings from Germany,
