		<description><![CDATA[As for my country, teachers rarely begin strikes though they are still one of the most financially vulnerable people here. Either because they think their efforts will be in vain or because there aren&#039;t enough trade unions which can protect their rights.
Governmental programs like the one mentioned here are not as popular in Russia. Maybe, because of its enornous area which means sigmificant logistic costs. However, there are attempts to launch a series of e-Student&#039;s Books (tablet computers with a set of necessary books installed into them).]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[It&#039;s very sad, a very similar situation we&#039;re living here in Mexico. The teachers go on strike and the schools freezes for two or three weeks. The situation worsen when the kids apply for the medium high education, they can´t get into the school they wanted because the basic education was not enough to develope the minimum skills to have a chance.

The only thing that I can do right now, is to volunteer for classes for the kids who wants to apply for a high school. I know is not enough to remedy this situation but the change starts with litle actions to make huge results]]></description>
