Hi Venda, Thanks for your nice comment!
It's an interesting question you ask. I also love my subjects. But actually they are themselves about people, about how they cope with life, and why they act the way they do. When I think about my major, American Studies, I especially think of one professor who taught me so many interesting things about American culture and history with so much enthusiasm and humor. Books and papers are interesting and absolutely necessary for my studies, but people make them more interesting, more real and authentic in a way. What my professor taught me helped me to better understand American society and how history makes people act and think in general - so in the end the content of my subjects is itself about people. :-)
Do you study anything? What are you interested in? What motivates you?

Kathrin, I guess you are really lucky because education in your country is a right and it is well provided with a high degree of excellence.

Maybe that´s the reason why it was so natural and normal for you having all of it and still remembering people most of all.

Almost all the youngsters complain about the everlasting emphasis in the future possibilities and the financial aspect of a career when, on a daily basis, boredom appears so often. It was different for you, somehow.

But you found your way around and started enjoying your subjects.Isn´t that wonderful? Besides you were successful in getting your scholarship and you have a brilliant future ahead.

The fact that you don´t lose track of people around you adds to your beautiful personality.People are the real thing and your studies are to be a part of your ways in dealing with life. Am I wrong?
