To be honest with you the situation is worsening and recently women are forced to obey new rules specially in Media .And that’s women should be covered enough in order to appear in TV screens or in the public eye Because of Peace talks with Taliban All I meant is new rules ,more limitations are waiting for women in Afghanistan.But ofcourse only the media can help women to raise their awareness and encourage them to make everything happen.

By: Kamaluddin Wahid https://blogs.dw.com/womentalkonline/2011/12/29/a-tough-woman-a-tougher-job-test-post/#comment-37 Fri, 17 Feb 2012 11:59:49 +0000 http://womentalkonline.com/?p=129#comment-37 It is a wonderful step in order to make women aware of their rights and responsibilities and make them move forward claim their rights.In fact if you pay a close attention to Afghan Constitution law the rights of both men and women are equal ,but as its obvious Afghanistan has tradition that some are relatively both positive and negative for example If a woman would love to appear in TV or some other official meeting people will definitely condemn them or somehow avoid them and hate them and they will be asked why did they appear or join .They make them feel that they may have committed crime or mistaken .The reason I say because I`m a lawyer myself and have witnessed such cases specially in remote places or in rural places.So this site is appreciable and I wish the correspondents of this site for their step .

Many may think that women’s rights are only an issue in countries where religion is law, such as many Muslim countries. Or even worse, some may think this is no longer an issue at all
