Very lucid writing, easy to adapt methods, fine narration. We had been reading a lot on ewaste from a long time to incorporate it in our CSR activity but nothing was so simple yet unique way of explaining people. Please write more of these stuff which we corporates can use these ideas in our CSR activities.

It is always better to give your electronic gadgets for recycling and reuse than selling it to third parties. Many people in India sell their old gadgets to shops which buy second hand products and sell it to customers for a much cheaper price. This should be discouraged. The law should be enforced strictly so that no-one can resell their used gadget, but hand it over for recycling.. Lot of people make money out of it!!

The idea of donating items is really nice. This way we can reduce the waste as well as make someone smile. In this “Joy of Giving” week I urge my friends and fellow readers to donate heir used electronic gadgets and make some poor people happy.

A great thought and an eye opener. We should indeed spend a few minutes in such activities which may help preserve our environment to a great deal. Just to add a point, I think the government should also take this hazard into consideration. While sorting the municipal garbage, such hazardous material should be sorted out and removed and then dumped.

Wow! another brilliant piece! The methods discussed are pretty effective. A well researched blog. I never cared about the factors our small steps can lead to the environmental problems.
