India rape deaths case of suicide, says investigative agency

The sight of two young girls hanging from a tree in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun in May, horrified the country and drew reactions from across the world. If Bhopal happened today, would the world react any differently?

Thirty years ago, on Dec. 3, 1984, an enormous 40-ton plume of poisonous gas escaped from a Union Carbide (DOW) insecticide plant in Bhopal, India.
