The search for Nigeria’s abducted schoolgirls
Islamic extremists stormed a remote boarding school in northeast Nigeria last week and kidnapped 230 girls and young women. Security forces are still desperately hunting for the girls and the victims’ families have also launched an independent hunt to find their daughters. Parents of the schoolgirls say the number of those kidnapped is far greater than thought. They say 230 still remain unaccounted for.
