Have you ever seen a woman who attracts everybody’s attention when she is walking on the street? She does not wear a sexy dress. She is not remarkably pretty, and she does not look perfect or walk like a model either. But she has something in the way she moves. Books you might want to read when it’s raining outside

bücherWe all know those days. Nothing is really wrong, but the sun doesn’t shine and we feel low. On rainy days like this, sometimes it just helps to go into another world. If you read a good book, you can go there without even having to go out and get wet. I am going to mention some books which are rather different. The bitter side of pregnancy

The journey from pregnancy to motherhood is a transition I am certain I share with all women on road to motherhood, specifically first-time-mothers. However, what was shocking for me was that during this time, I became a target of the most anti-feminist and sexist comments that I had ever heard. With feminism and sexism so relative to cultures, I have documented a list of top five comments that I found most offensive.

If we look for news about women on the internet, we find a lot of stories about violence against women and girls. It is said that in some societies women literally do not have any value, for example in the case of the two Dalit girls in Uttar Pradesh, India, who were gang-raped and hanged by men from a higher caste. It is also said that their attitudes towards women is deeply rooted in their traditions.
