VTV4, the international channel of Vietnam’s state broadcaster VTV, has expanded its partnership with DW. A specially produced DW News segment is now being aired every Friday on VTV4’s morning “English News Bulletin”. VTV4 is expanding its English-language news and entertainment content and DW News makes a valuable contribution.
Also in Vietnam, National Assembly TV (NaTV), is broadcasting the DW programs In Good Shape, Tomorrow Today, Check in and Arts.21 – in English with Vietnamese subtitles. NaTV, part of public broadcaster VOV TV, provides coverage of parliament, local politics and general news.
Detik.com is Indonesia’s most popular news website with almost a billion monthly page views. Detik is also one of DW’s premier online partners in Asia and since last month, it has been including DW articles in Bahasa Indonesia as an important part of its international news content.
Mongolsat Networks, a newly founded Mongolian DTH provider, is now including DW’s English-language in its basic package. Mongolsat broadcasts 40 TV channels.
DW’s Urdu-language science magazine Sawal is being broadcast on Pakistan’s Express TV, one of the most popular news channels in the country.
Latin America
Nicavisión Canal 12, Nicaragua’s only nationwide terrestrial broadcaster, is showing Spanish-language news broadcasts and magazines from DW. Canal 12 calls itself Nicaragua’s only independent news broadcaster and values DW’s reputation as a source of quality international journalism.
The Peruvian TV channel Quatro TV is acquiring a variety of Spanish-language DW programs for its line up. DW’s El reportero, La semana, Al volante, En forma, Enlaces and Todo gol will be available to around 500,000 households in Southern Peru via Quatro TV.

DW has new partnerships in The Gambia with the state television and radio station Gambia Radio and Television service (GRTS). The DW programs included are Africa on the Move, Eco@Africa, In Good Shape und Kick off! Also in Gambia, DW is now radio partners with Paradise FM Radio, BIZ FM Radio and Capital FM, which will be broadcasting DW’s radio shows AfricaLink, Crime Fighters and Learning by Ear.

One of Indonesia’s leading video websites, vidio.com, is including DW’s Indonesian-language technology show Inovator along with selected programs from DW English with Indonesian subtitles.
DW and DW (Deutsch) are now available in Thailand on the TrueVisions Anywhere app for iOS and Android, developed by the country’s largest cable provider.
Digital
DW content is available on Google Home – Google’s new speech-assisted, interactive speaker system operating on Google Assistant software. The voice-activated system can answer questions, control smartphones and play music. Audio news reports from DW in English and German, as well as slowly spoken news reports in German for learners. DW content will also be rolled out in the future on Google Assistant software for Android

DW’s global English-language channel is now available in HD quality across North America. Partners in the USA and Canada can directly receive the channel on the SES-3 satellite. Numerous DW programs like Focus on Europe, Global 3000 and DW News will also soon be available in HD on the US public broadcasting network, PBS.
Africa
The Ghanaian broadcaster ABN TV is a new DW partner. Launching in 2013, the broadcaster reaches 10 million households in Africa and Europe via satellite. ABN TV is now broadcasting World Stories, Global 3000, Kick Off! Countdown, Kick Off! Bundesliga Highlights, Documentaries and Reports, In Good Shape and Conflict Zone.
Télé-Chad is now broadcasting a selection of programming from DW (Arabia). Kick Off!, Drive It and Tomorrow Today will now be broadcast both terrestrially and on NILESAT 201.
Asia
The Karachi-based broadband internet provider Connect Communications is a new DW partner in Pakistan. Offering a wide-range of broadband services, their television subsidiary dedear.com is broadcasting DW’s English-language channel to 70,000 households.
DW mobile content is now available to 5 million subscribers of Reliance JIO. Reliance is one of India’s fastest-growing providers of high-speed mobile connectivity.
Australia
DW’s Conflict Zone is now being broadcast on ABC News 24. The flagship news channel from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reaches a potential 8.6 million households nationwide.

Africa
Several radio partners in Sub-Saharan Africa are expanding cooperation with DW. In Nigeria, Radio Gombe is acquiring English and Hausa radio programs. The station covers the states of Yobe, Borno and Adamawa. In Congo, Radio Mwana is acquiring DW’s complete French programming lineup, with stations in Mbandaka and Gbadolite that reach more than 750,000 listeners. A new radio partner in Mbuji-Mayi, Radio Fraternité, will be broadcasting one hour of French programming daily to a potential 500,000 households. In Ghana, the Internet radio broadcaster Ghana Waves Radio now includes DW live streams in six languages. The streams are also included on the Ghana Waves app and on-demand. DW radio live streams and newsfeeds in a variety of languages are also available now across Africa on the Africa Live Radio and News App.
The Liberian state broadcaster LNTV is now broadcasting one hour of DW programming every day. LNTV is the only Liberian TV broadcaster with nationwide coverage. Included in the programming package is DW News, Euromaxx, Kick off!, and In Good Shape.
In Tanzania, DW is the first international news provider available on the video-on-demand platform SIMUtv. The app has already been downloaded 100,000 times.
Asia
DW has expanded cable network partnerships in India and Bangladesh, with several cable providers acquiring DW’s English channel. This increases DW’s technical range by 400,000 households in Bangladesh and by 250,000 households in the Indian states of Bihar and West Bengal.
The Bengali-language app Kokil now includes an RSS feed with content from DW Bengali. The app currently has 50,000 users.
DW’s English-language channel is now part of the line up on Star Cable Network, the largest cable network in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
South America
The Colombian news website Publimetro now features a DW content box with Spanish-language news articles from DW. Publimetro belongs to Metro International, a well-known publisher of free newspapers in cities around the world. The Publimetro news portal registers 3.2 million unique visitors every month.
Europe
DW has a new Smart TV partner in the United Kingdom. The OTT provider Vision247 is now broadcasting DW’s flagship English channel in its entirety on the free-to-air entertainment portal, Vision TV. The portal is available on the digital TV service Freeview on channel 244 and can be received by a potential 7.3 million households in Great Britain. Vision TV is also available for mobile devices and on web-TV.
